Stanley is the capital of the Falkland Islands.
The Stanley city is built on a north facing slope
on the East Falkland south of Stanley Harbour.
Stanley lies at the centre of East Falkland's road network,
and is the main shopping centre on the islands.
Stanley is also home to the Falkland Islands Broadcasting Station.
